Life Coaching

This is where you will decide whether or not we are going to work well together.
There are many Life Coaches out there practising, who have different approaches and styles. It is important you find the person who is in alignment with what it is you want to achieve and who you feel comfortable with.
We will work well together if you feel you need change in any of the areas below:
We probably won’t work as well together if currently:
One-on-One Life Coaching
It will vary from individual to individual as to how many sessions are appropriate. It will depend on how much progress the coachee is making on implementing the daily practices and their commitment to the process of change.
For some four – six sessions can produce positive results but for optimal growth up to ten sessions is encouraged.
The first four sessions are held weekly and subsequent sessions fortnightly/monthly. Contact will be made between sessions to provide encouragement and support if required.
Single sessions are available but for long term change it is advisable to have at least four – six sessions.
The sessions are held in a safe and comfortable space.
Group Coaching
Group Life Coaching sessions may be offered from time to time.
My Approach
I have over the years of working with people in the human services field utilized the following:
- Theories: Systems – Rogerian/humanistic – Human Development
- Perspectives: Strengths – Eco systems
- Models: Solution focused – Cognitive behavioural – Narrative
- Person centred approach
As a Life Coach, I draw from the above. With an emphasis on a solution focused approach, which facilitates clear goal setting through introspection and self-evaluation.
I also implement a holistic approach focusing on all areas of your life, due to the interconnectedness each one has on the other. This facilitates an improved work/life balance. All the techniques I use are based on evidence based research.
